Our History
A.M. Express, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Bob Garcia to provide dependable freight solutions throughout the Midwest.
In 1996, Pat Barron joined the company as Accounting Manager, and in 1998 he acquired the business, guiding it into a new phase of growth and stability.
Over the years, A.M. Express expanded its capabilities to better serve customers, adding non-hazardous tanker hauling in 2016 with the acquisition of Dow Dawson Trucking.
In 2022, we strengthened our flatbed services through the acquisition of D. Graham Transport.
Today, with the support of our in-house maintenance division, Red Pine Equipment Maintenance, we continue to keep our fleet running smoothly and our customers’ freight moving on schedule.

We provide reliable transportation across the United States, with strong roots in the Midwest. Our fleet hauls a wide variety of freight, including paper, magazines, general merchandise, and beverages. We operate 24/7 dispatch services to ensure every load is delivered safely and on time. While we do not handle hazardous materials, we bring the same level of precision and care to every other type of shipment we move.
